Medina River Natural Area

Now that I have a lot more free time in my hands, I finally had time to catch up on life with my best friend this week. I did 15 hours this semester and I knew that I needed a break.

I've known Amber for nearly 10 years now and we have been through a lot together. We have a lot a common. I honestly feel like we're going to be like one of those old ladies that are always together causing trouble.

This past Monday, Amber asked me if I wanted to hang out. And I said sure.

There's this natural area that I always pass by on the highway on my way to A&M-San Antonio. It's Medina River Natural Area and I've never been there so we chose to go.

I'm not an outdoor person. I'm like being indoors but I knew I had to get my exercise somewhere so why not go for a walk?

I took my Nikon camera because I didn't know what to expect. What if I saw a snake and I wanted to take a picture of it? Thankfully we didn't see any because I am terrified of them.

It was a peaceful morning and there were barely people. There really wasn't much to take pictures of. The river was still dirty because of rain from last week and everything else was dry. I was only able to get flower pictures.
