About a year ago, I shot my first wedding. I remember stressing over it because I wanted it to be perfect.

At the time, the majority of the photography that I did was animals and nature. Yes, you'd expect a lot of cats and flower pictures.

Portraits we're still something new to me. As I mentioned in a post before, I took group pictures for a retreat and one of the women who lived it asked if I was able to take pictures the day of her wedding.

I told her yes and her wedding was held a month later. A lot of my parents friends attended, and the choir I'm in at was invited to sing. I, of course,  couldn't sing beside them because of the pictures.

The bride was tearing up 90% of the time. I guess she was happy that she's finally getting married after so many years. I still see the couple every other weekend. Since their wedding, they've been very involved in church.
